About Me

My photo
Every day I pray and battle with my mission to start pleasing God and stop satisfying myself and appeasing others. Defeats in this battle have cost me a lot, where prayers, praise and God’s Word have brought some miraculous victories. It is not because my daddy is a preacher or because I was always in church, that I see God not as a casualty but a necessity. However, at 23 my experiences and understanding that IT MAY NOT BE EASY TO DO THE RIGHT THING BUT THE CONSEQUENCES OF DOING THE WRONG THINGS ARE TOO HARD TO DEAL WITH, have brought the Sunday school lessons, the sermons, and the prayers into perspective. Being perfect is unpractical but being young and saved is not! I've done a whole lot of something for nothing. But after meeting Jesus Christ I decided I would give anything to have Him as my Everything!

Know Your Limits!

BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY!!!
"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him... John 6:44

So they have yet to get saved and you cannot convince them to come to church!  Don't get frustrated! Know your limits! ...And Let God do His Job!

Understand, I'm not saying it is wrong to witness and tell people about the goodness of God.  It is our job to do that, but we are to only plant the seed.  God says, " He will watch His word and perform it."

I encourage you to share the word of God with family and friends and pray that they will have a ear to hear God and that He will be revealed to them.  Nonetheless,  remember how you came to God.  Was it willingly?  Normally we have to go through something where God is all we have and then we come to know God is all we need.  I know you want to save people from hardships and give them hope, but pray God's protection and will over their life while there situation leads them to their salvation.

And most importantly love them with the love of the Lord and be a light.  Not many can take correction and reproof, so it is important to share God's love with gentleness and not judgement.

We are all saved by grace.

Be encouraged,
Ashlee
